Packaging Robotics
Industrial robots and cobots automate packaging workstations — especially where flexibility, fast changeover, and high repeatability matter. MadejPak integrates solutions from robotics leaders as components of complete packaging lines.
Platform selection
Cobot or industrial robot?
The choice depends on the product, throughput, and workstation specifics. We help select the right platform — and take responsibility for the entire project.
Cobot
Collaborative robot
Payload: from <1 kg to 25 kg
Operation without permanent fencing
Teaching by demonstration
Fast format changeover
When flexibility, format variety, or a workstation that must cooperate with an operator matters — works well for delicate products and lighter palletizing up to 25 kg.
Flexible workstations
Pick-and-place
Light format palletizing
Industrial robot
High payload robot
Payload: 10–1000+ kg
Operation in fenced zone
High speed and repeatability
Cycles under 1 second
When high throughput, heavy loads, or continuous operation is key — e.g. palletizing 25–50 kg bags, handling heavy cartons, multi-shift cycle without downtime.
Palletizing
High volumes
24/7 operation
Applications
One robot can handle multiple applications in the same line — or be reprogrammed for a new product depending on the gripper and recipe.
Pick-and-place
Picking up and placing products from a conveyor — into packaging, a carton, or onto a pallet. Can work with loose products, trayed items, or products on a conveyor.
Palletizing
Automatic stacking of packages, bags, and cartons on a pallet according to a programmed pattern. Continuous operation without an operator, with the ability to handle multiple formats.
Depalletizing
Automatic removal of products from a pallet — raw materials, semi-finished goods, or empty packaging — and feeding them into the line without human involvement.
Robotic packaging
The robot handles the entire cycle: picking, orienting, placing into packaging, and passing on. One robot can handle several formats — depending on the product, gripper, and changeover scope.
Custom grippers
We design and manufacture grippers tailored to specific products and processes: vacuum, mechanical, combined, and magnetic.
Line integration
The robot synchronizes with conveyors, the packaging machine, and the supervisory control system — becoming a full-value element of the line, not a standalone island.
Workstation design
More than just a robot
A robotic workstation is a system: safety, vision, gripper, and changeover capability. We design this holistically.
Workstation safety
Robotic workstation design includes risk assessment, selection of fencing or safety scanners, stopping zones, and access interlocks. We deliver the workstation with a CE declaration of conformity.
Vision systems
2D and 3D cameras for product identification, position and orientation detection on the conveyor. Enable pick-and-place from randomly arranged products without additional guides.
Gripper design
In-house gripper design and manufacturing. Vacuum, mechanical, combined — each selected individually for the product shape, weight, and requirements.
Changeover & format change
Projects with quick-change gripper systems and product recipes in the controller. Format change in minutes — without tools and without an on-site engineer.
