MadejPak designed and implemented a complete fertiliser packaging and palletising line for Planta. The system covers a product hopper, vertical conveying, an Essegi packaging machine, weight controller, turntable, KUKA robot palletising and pallet feeding to the wrapper.
Starting situation
The customer — a manufacturer of various fertiliser types — needed a comprehensive line for packaging a wide range of bulk products with different characteristics.
Challenge
Handling a wide packaging weight range and a large product variety. Integration of many elements into a single system: packaging, weight control, robot palletising and wrapping. Ability to palletise both bags and cartons with a single gripper without tool change.
