MadejPak designed and implemented a dedicated packaging automation system for one of the leading wafer manufacturers. The solution combined oven handling, slicing and packaging into a single system — eliminating manual labour and improving process hygiene.
Starting situation
With growing product range and increasing volumes, the customer needed to automate key production and packaging stages. Manual labour was generating process hygiene issues, lack of repeatability and limiting scale-up potential.
Challenge
Careful handling of a delicate product while maintaining high precision. Integration with the existing oven and production flow without stoppages. A single system had to handle two simultaneous technological processes — the oven and the manufacturer's slicer.
