MadejPak designed and supplied a dedicated column manipulator with a custom gripper for semi-automatic retrieval of welding wire spools from ESAB welding equipment. The solution replaced hazardous, slow manual labour.
Starting situation
Retrieval of welding wire spools from the welding equipment was carried out manually. The process was slow, hazardous to operators and carried a risk of product damage.
